i adopted two young cats about 6 weeks ago, they are sisters (from a shelter), about 5 months old. They have used the litter box regularly with NO accidents until this past weekend. I went out of town for thanksgiving and had a girlfriend look in on them. They were excited to see me when I returned and I let them play in my bed, which I do not ordinarily do. The next day I came home and found a pile of feces right in the middle of the bed. I was so shocked and angry I could not believe it!  What could be the root of this angry act? The litter box was not the cleanest it has been since I was out of town but really!  And it is almost as if they/it was purposely striking out at me for maybe leaving them alone?  Do cats do this???
