the om mani padme hum basically has no meaning.  its all the tibetan teachings into one mantra, but it is said if you chant it you envoke the spirit of Chenrezig, who represents supreme compassion.  the koi symbolizes all living beings in a state of fearfulness.  the one tattoo on his wrist right below his palm is just a tattoo he drew.  the dharma wheel, or the one below the tat on his wrist, is just the tibetan mantra as it is drawn. oh and the one on his back is of an owl i believe and its one he got when he was 17.
