Two sets of questions:

1)  How much more/less skills instruction will one receive by taking a class rather than a multi-day tour?

2)  Are there guides/tour operators/instructors who have a reputation for the strength of their skills instruction?  If so, who are they?  Are there any who work in the Pacific Northwest or Northern California?

Thank you!
