I have a 1928 $10.00 banknote (U.S.).  It is in very fine condition.  Signed by Woods and Mellon.  Any thoughts as to the range of value?

Hi..you didn't give serial numbers so I don't know what Federal Reserve Bank it's from but I will give you ranges.Now first you said the note is in very fine condition.Very fine condition means in currency collecting as 4 folds no bad stains or any tears and the paper is somewhat crisp.Here is book value for this note the ranges would be about $30-$40 with the Minneapolis Fed have a $75 value.Again these are book value dealers would offer less for there profit and it is at VF grade.
