should we write "thank you for applying to our firm" or "thank you for applying with our firm"

It is good manners to write the letter, it shows good customer service, and tells a great deal about your company. Who know? The right person for your next position might hear about it because the person you just turned down had a good experience in the application process, or they might be a good customer already and this respect shows them they are valued.
