I must connect one of my Sun boxes to an HP fc switch which is connected to a VA7410 (HP disc array). I have only worked on HP-UX and this is my first exposure to the Sun os. I have looked at the /kernel/drv/*.conf files and it looks like the sd.conf and fca-pci.conf files are the ones to be 'tampered' with.

Has any one out there configured something like this? Failing that, any pointers as to what I should do would be most welcome. You can  email me directly at djason@mhg.co.za

Some info about the hardware,

# uname -a
SunOS <<myservername>> 5.6 Generic_105181-33 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-250

Fiber Switch

HP fc 16B
connected to port 4

Fiber Card installed in Sun

(jni) FCI 1063

Thanks

David
