Help I need a lisp!!!

I'm looking for a lisp that gives me a text value for the difference between to point in the z co-ordinate.

ie, if I have one object/line/point at 3,4,5 and one at 3,4,7 I'd like to be able to pick the two points and get a text value of the difference in Z+/- (+2 or -2) and be able to insert it as a text.

Anyone know of any such an animal.
