HPUX V 11.
Windows XP or windows 2003 Server (not 2000 or NT)
All computers except the unix servers are DHCP.
When sending files from windows to unix the filename in the var/spool/lp/request has the IP address of the sending machine rather than the sending machine name - this causes the queue on hpux to disable as it does not like . (dots) in filenames and the file does not print.
The question is "how do I fix this?"
