Paul Frees (who died in 1986) was NOT one of Disney's "Imagineers". What he WAS was an accomplished "voice actor" for over 40 years. First, on radio, in such shows as ESCAPE, SUSPENSE, and GUNSMOKE. He also portrayed the crime fighting GREEN LAMA on radio (Green is the color of justice in Tibetan Mysticism the show explains). Later he supplied the voice for Toshiro Mifune in the film MIDWAY, and can be heard on such classic cartoon shows as HUCKLEBERRY HOUND, YOGI BEAR, ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE (he plays Boris Badenov among others). He is also the voice of "The Auctioneer" on THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ride as well as the Ghost Voice on the HAUNTED MANSION ride. Does Vincent Price do the voice for the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland? I am betting on a yes.

NO VINCENT PRICE DID NOT DO THE VOICE OF THE "GHOST HOST" THE VOICE WAS PROVIDED BT PAUL FREES, A DISNEY IMAGANEER. HOWEVER, AT DISNEYLAND PARIS, VINCENT PRICE DID DO THE VOICE (BRIEFLY) FOR THIER HAUNTED MANSION, ALSO KNOWN AS PHANTOM MANOR.

Mr. Price was the original voice of the Ghost Host at Disneyland Paris, but the French couldn't understand him, so they had a new narration recorded by French actor Gerard Chevalier.
