DO NOT SPANK YOUR DOG.  RAT TERRIORS ARE VERY INTELLIGENT DOGS. SCOLD HER AND PUT HER BACK IN THE HOUSE.  SHE WILL SOON LEARN

Well your dog licking your face isnt a bad thing at all heres a fact dogs have cleaner mouths than humans do even though it may not seem like it that is a valid fact...so when you dog is licking you, you should not scold him all he is doing is showing he loves you its just the way the show they are happy! and if you dont get mad about your dog licking than it wont just up on your face

Our Murphy is a real accomplished face-licker, too, and we can sometimes divert him by throwing a toy. Seems this behavior is only directed toward us (his "mom and dad") and most ratties we've known share this charming obsession!

No it is ingrowen hairs. You need to wipe the dog severl times a day with baby wipes. Then use neosporin and hycordsone ointment on it, then spray with this stufff called bitter yuck. You can get it at petsmart. Also any bedding they may lie on be sure it is very clean and that your pup does not have a blader problem because sometime they leak a little bit in thier sleep when they are young and they lie on it and it will cause a rash.
