i own a 1993 chrysler lebaron 3.0 when i am driving the rpms jump from three to four. the cars seems like its not getting gas .it hesitates. now it will stall and wont start. when you do try you have to keep pumping on the gas but it just hesitates it wont really get going when you let off the gas it dies. when i do get it started and let it idle it runs with no stalling please help.

Also, I had the throttle body cleaned when this problem started years ago, and it seemed to help.

When I am not on the road, I love driving my 88 Lebaron.  It is red with lack and red leather interior, it Kix ass.

This is the best type of car except when you are on the ice.

Well it sounds like a timing issue. I would check the timing. Check the distrubuter for cracks, moisture could get in there and cuase it to stall. Change the plugs and wires. A tuneup is in need. Try these and clean your throttle body. Put in some gas treatment, use plus grade gas and then replace the airfilter. You should be alright. Sounds pretty normal.

well either something in the throttle body.. fuel injectors is messed up... or a fuel pump.... u say it isn't gettin gas... and it dies when u let off.. work your way to the back of the car....good luck
