no they wouldn't, because they have a special bond between each other. It is just like would your cat eat you alive. No because you have a special bond. But I'mnot saying that they would not eat a wild injured bird.

No they would not  they are too domesticated and would only eat domestic food but they might kill and after play with a dead wild bird, but not an indoor bird   Siamese know an indoor pet of any kind is part of the family and would never kill them.

I'm thinking of getting a kitten. I already have a rabbit (7months)and we have a budgie (3months), i was just wondering if there is a possibility that  the rabbit might hurt the cat or vice versa or the cat might hurt  the budgie...

Bob and "your best friend" done you wrong!!!

All cats, Siamese ESPECIALLY, love to play with anything that moves, birds and chicks included.  A single graze from a cat's nail can KILL birds, because of their sensitive systems.  So, any cat will play with, injure, and likely cause the death of your pet birds and chicks if you allow them access to one another.

Cats will not eat your birds unless they were taught that birds are food by their mothers.  Cats, including Siamese, will normally only eat what they have smelled on their mother's breath.

There have been instances where prey and predators did co-exist, but most where they could not.  How many birds must die for you to find out?  And is this a good idea anyway?!?!

THE REAL MORAL dilemma here is this:

DO YOUR BIRDS KNOW the cat is their PREDATOR?

Yes, they likely do!  Som, it is grossly unfair to force your birds to live their entire lives in close proximity to their worst nightmare!

What do you fear the most?  Now imagine it in your BED, and you are locked in your bedroom for your entire life.  How you do feel now?

Siamese, in particular, are extremely clever about opening doors and cages!  They were bred for their intelligence as well as their athleticism.  You think that birdcage is high enough to be safe?  Siamese can jump 8 feet withOUT even a running start!  Just because you need a ladder to reach the birdcage, doesn't mean it's safe from the cat!

Are you kidding? Cats are opportunistic predators. We all know how independent cats are yet you are saying that a cat will have a special bond with it's natural prey?  Come on, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has heard of friends that have both birds and cats and have lost birds to the natural predatory habits of the cats. Give me a break.
