I am really interested in magic(k), and was wondering if you have to do spells to be considered a witch?

It depends on who you ask. Some do hold that you have to do spells to be a witch but some say that being a witch is simply living a certain lifestyle of respect toward others and the earth that may or may not have to do with spell working or a particular type of worship. About.com has a section on paganism and wicca. I would suggest looking at the FAQ and the forum there for more information.
