My cat has a watery eye.  The eye doesn't look puffy, red, swollen or anything else.  This happened once before and it went away in a few days.  Should I be concerned if it doesn't go away in a few days again?  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks.

your cat has what we call the feline watery eye.and this might be caused by alergent reactions, dust sand forighn body or mild inflimation of the  eye causing the lacrimal glands to be hyper active to clean the eye...it is natural defence mechanizem..and your vet will give you mild antibiotic for it.keep your cat away from sand and dust and keep it inside the home for 10 days, clean the eye with warm water.

My cat has the same problem with a runny right eye.  It turns out his nasal passage is slightly blocked which causes the tears to back up.  The vet gave me drops to put in his eyes but my cat would put up a fight so I stopped.  The vet also says it's nothing serious.
