Hi. i was wondering if i had a creature out in play that was a 1/1 that had protection from creatures. that if a player were to attack me with a 4/4 creature that had trample, i want to know if any of the damage would go through to the other player.   My other question is that if i had a creature that had protection from blue, could my creature be blocked by a blue creature?

You might check the thread before this, as I answered the question before. You will take 3 damage from a 4/4 trampler if you block with a 1/1 pro-creature. This is because the trampling creature must assign damage equal to the blocking creatures toughness, and then the rest goes to the opposing player. The trampling creature ignores any prevention or protection effects and just tries to make a "best effort" to kill all blockers before trampling over.
(see rule 502.9)
