Hey, I hope this answer isn't way to late. I have had my nose pierced for approx 6 months now. From the very beginning I started having problems with my piercing falling out. I did everything that the piercer had told me to do in the after care but yet my nose started to hurt and become extremely red and then a bump started to form! I was really worried when this bump started to form so I went back to the professional piercer and he told me to go a buy 15-20% tea tree oil and apply it in small amounts with a Q-tip twice a day for 2 weeks. So after he had told me this, I rushed to the Body Shop picked up my 15% tea tree oil and started applying it right away, well after 2 days of applying the bump has disappeared and it has now been 2 months and the bump has not returned. When I asked the piercer what had caused this bump, he had told me that changing the piercing too often could cause it. I hope this helps you. I know what it is like to be in your situation!

what can i do to get rid of (the bump) persay a nose infection i have been putting the sea salt , lavender and grapeseed oli on it nothing is working what do i do please help :(

ive heard that sperm or "jizz" is very good for any facial imperfections, although i havent tried it myself. failing that, just put up with the fact that your an ugly runt and live life regretting not gettinjg spunk on your face

This happened to my nose piercing . I tried everything and finally went to a pro piercer. He said sometimes something tiny like a Q-tip fiber or something can get in there and cause the bump. he took out my nose ring and somehow smashed the bump to dislodge the problem. It wasn't pretty for a few days but it worked. Good luck and just ignore the rude twitwad's message above this.

I pierced my nose, and I just got the bump, I was told to use a warm compress, and try just washing your face, it really seems to help with mine.

I have had several nose rings, and had "the bump" infection with twice. I currently have it now, just happened last week. I used every product that I was told to and yet nothing changed, finally I just took it out which every piercer I know has told me NOW after the fact....DONT REMOVE THE JEWLERY. Apparently if you do that, then you cant clean the infection which is inside...makes sense really but now im screwed with this gigantic bump on my nose and lost my 5th nose ring. So my advice is well nothing...but I feel your pain. Just contact a piercer I guess they should know. :(

mine is the same there is bump and weird stuff in it and i pop it alot but it keeps coming back!

I have the same problem with my nose piercing. ever since I've got it done I've been getting this weird bump by the side of the nose ring. It actually happened after I by accidentally ripped it out. If anyone knows why this is happening please tell me . thanks.

Hi, my name's Emma. and I have the same problem, but people keep saying it's only cause I keep touching it. I don't really understand how to make the damned thing go away. Everyone keeps pointing it out -- pretty embaressing!

um i heard b4 to smash up a aspirin and mix a little water in it and mix and then put it on your around the piercing until it goes away. I have my nose pierced but haven't had much of a problem with it! good luck!

hey! I have a bump now 2! go back to your piercer and ask them about it..they should help you :) otherwise, if its small just dont worry! i had a bump on my ear once i took my earing out (top of ear) and eventualy it went away after around a month..it should be ok! however, if its painful and u think its infected go 2 your doctor.litle lumps are usually normal though so dont fret !

I have the same problem and nothing will make it go away. I've talked to other people who say they've had it and it went away by itself but i dont think mine will. it really freaks me out and makes me feel ugly.

I have my nose pierced and it's got infected twice! i suggest that you use a good antiseptic such as dettol and mix it with a little salt water and poor it on your piercing every morning and night. I also think that taking a handy little antiseptic spray containing local anaesthetic with you to college/school is a good idea...if it starts hurting, simply spray a few squirts on and it will numb the pain whilst killing germs. (Germolene spray is good)Hpwever, if the pus/pain doesnt go away in a week then seek medical help. visit your doctor so he/she can put you on atibiotics. DONT JUST 4GET ABOUT IT! IT WONT GO AWAY ON ITS OWN!

You should try Teatree oil without Grapeseed in it!!!! It's no good! You need straight teatree with nothing in it

Hey i just got one from my nose piercing but i put pressure on it and some stuff came out like it was a pimple. it went down and everythings cool now. so dont be scared to try that it just might work :)
