The programming assignment is to create a “Long Integer” library
with the following functions.
Given as input N, the length of the integer in bytes, at run time, the
following functions have to be implemented:
1. ADD(A, B) where A and B are signed numbers in N bytes, return the
sum of A and B as an N byte number.
2. SUB(A, B) – similarly perform A – B.
3. MULT(A, B) – multiply A and B assuming the product is an N byte
number.
4. Given M, an N byte number,
1. MOD-ADD(A, B, M) where the addition is done mod M.
2. MOD-SUB(A,B, M) similarly (note now there will be no possibility
of negative numbers as in SUB).
3. MOD-MULT(A, B, M) where the product of A and B without the
mod may be larger than N bytes.
