I know these are really old post, But just incase anyone else finds a simular problem with a husky who has cracked and bleeding nose or even eyes... Ask the vet for DMV V3 caps... Or even go to a drug store and get Fish Oil caps... Both of my sibes and there mom and one of there brothers all have it... Its due to an allergie that is very common for sibes... Its from not getting enough oils in there diet. Hope this helps.

get thin cloth and damp it. Then put the cloth on her nose and press lightly down. It should stop the bleeding. If not, consult a vet.

if her nose is getting cracked, apply some safe vasilene. Make sure you cheak the ingredeants though!

I have also had this experience but with a cat not a dog the first cause is a sinus infection but if your vet checked thats probably not the culprit
If its dry and cracked the best thing to do is buy a bottle of saline nasal spray from walmart or wherever you shop Its made for humans but wont hurt your animals it helps to put moisture  back into there nostrils which will help heal the cracks and should stop the bleeding from occurring

apply pressure to her nose then lean her head forward and let the blood drain out that should
dry her nose and stop the bleeding.

my friends dog has large scales that are constantly peeling off.  They are very thick and white.  the dog's nose is so dry that it has split up the middle and has cracked up the top center of one of the nostrils.  this dog has skin allergies as she is constantly licking and chewing at her foot and pads.  she also chews by her hip.  she has been diagnosed with allergies, but her nose is so bad.  she also has a lump in her abdomen that is benign.  she is a 7 year old shepard/rottie mix.  she weighs 140 lbs.

I have a Dalmatian and his nose is cracked and spurting blood. The vet didn't know what was wrong. A friend had heard of a similar case so I am trying omega 369 oil (1 Tbsp) twice a day on his food. I thought it got better until today when it started bleeding again. I am going to try it for a while yet.  Their system is lacking something.  I have read some things on that and lack of zinc can cause dryness i guess.

first I would lay the dog down then put a small towel over his nose then I would bring him to the vet to help him feel better, because I would not want him to feel bad or get hurt at all. Because I love huskiesthere the best. And that's what I would do to help a husky from bleeding through his nose.
P.S.Eight Below rocks and so do husk's and Paul Walker!
