because of before, there were only typewriters (with bars with letter-stamps on it) because of the letters or the bars wouldn't have collissions there haven been managed some solutions how this couldn't happen, by placing the letters in a certain position, qwerty or azerty

The letters on the first typewriters were placed according to more or less often used words. The differences in querty and azerty ( and some more) are conditioned by various languages.

Ha ha, once upon a time there was this Lad who figured out the most used characters to make a nice layout for a typewriter... English one: qwerty.

Now this is still used! Optimal for 10 finger typing.

There also exists azerty (French) and qwertz (German) which each are optimal for their language.
