I've just had a stapedectomy and also am a keen bodybuilder. I keep getting conflicting views when I can return to weight training. From 2 weeks to 6 months after the op!
Please advise. I also am getting constant buzzing in the operated ear, will this dissipate in time?

I'm sorry but to be in the safe side you have to stop this hobby of yours , about the tinnitus i think you have to get used to it.

here,i would like to know that i had undergone stapedectomy 10 month back every yhing was going well but few days back when i bathe without plugging ear i feel ringing in the operated year.since i have already tinitus in  the left ear.
i take medicine but no benefit,what i should do to avoid the same.
