I can't get my 4 month old puppy to stop chewing woodwork...

I can't get my 4 month old puppy to stop chewing woodwork when he is alone. I have numerous toys, even one I stuff with peanut butter. He doesn't even touch the same toys he goes crazy over when I am home. He is such a smart puppy, learning tricks after 2 sessions. He is already housebroken and doggie door trained. Please help, I've tried all the "sprays/gels" to deter chewing and NOTHING works.

Your puppy is 4 months old! This is his teenage years. How much attention does he get when he chews on your funiture? Your behavior after this act may be misinterped by your pup. Remember attention is always rewarding to any dog. Also try and note when he does this... is he trying to tell you something? Is he mad that your gone? You need to make your pup understand that your not always going to be there.

I have that same problem you can try puting bitter apple on the spot that he chews.

MY AMERICAN TERRIER PIT BULL WHO IS 8 MONTHS OLD WILL NOT STOP DESTROYING OUR BACK YARD!CHEWING ON EVERYTHING-WALK WAY LIGHTS THAT ARE MADE OF METAL/OUR DECK/CHILDRENS TOYS/GARDEN HOSE-EVERYTHING!-SHE GETS LOTS OF ATTENTION AND I THOUGHT AFTER THE PUPPY STAGE IT WOULD CHANGE -WHAT SHOULD I DO?

My Boston Terrior will not stop chewing on anything. He acts like he knows it's wrong but, I am at my wits end. He just destroyed my remote to my cable box. He has plenty of chew toys, he does chew on them as well, It's like he is just trying to drive me crazy. Please help.
