Please explain to me the division of the ancient Jewish day....

Please explain to me the division of the ancient Jewish day. I know it was divided into 12 parts. the 9th hour was set to have been about 3:00 pm our time. What were the other divisions?

The Jewish time started at 6:00 a.m. from the best of my knowledge.  The first hour would be 1 hour after 6:00 a.m.  The 5th hour would be 5 hours after 6:00 a.m., which would be 11 am.  The 11th hour would be 11 hours after 6:00am, which would be 5pm.  I hope you understand more clearly now.  In Christ Jesus, the true Messiah.
