I am in a monogamous relationship and have "loved" may people at the same time i.e. my spouse, my children, male and female close friends. Sex is not involved but intimacy is. What is this called if it's not polyamory?

I would call it beautiful.

Really, I think polyamoury is more about a blissful disregard of labels and constrictive, conventional thought than attempting to isolate and define everything. Obviously, definitions are very helpful in explaining it to others (or even yourself) but I don't think it would do any harm to exist in an intimate state of loving those around you without finding words for it. Sometimes, it almost makes it better.
I still don't know what to call it, since it seems polyamoury describes more romantic attraction to more than one person, rather than the type of feelings a parent would have for their child. I would just call it a wonderful thing to have so much love in your life. :)
