What if you had deja vu and while having it changed what was supposed to happen? So instead of having what was supposed to happen something different occurred

Every time I had deja vu over a period of time some years ago I thought hard about it and could never figure out what it was that had triggered the feeling.  Deja vu is only a feeling that you've seen something before, so you can't really change what was supposed to happen, because nothing in particular was supposed to happen.  My feeling is that it's an abstract match with something that happened, and nothing more than the brain's marvellous ability to spot patterns - it is only logical that it would spot patterns in everyday life as well.

The spooky thing I find about deja vu is that you can't identify what caused the feeling, i.e. what it was you saw before.  If you're approaching a road junction you know well, then the familiarity you feel is also deja vu, but because you can identify the cause easily you don't get the spooky feeling, and of course this is not generally called deja vu.

Ultimately you will only accept the above explanation if you believe that deja vu has a rational explanation.  If you don't, get your foil hat at the ready, cos there's an enormous conspiracy going on that is centred around YOU! :-)

i believe we do change our destiny,i had immense deja vu and had an eerie feeling something bad was going to happen but i just couldn't place it and when I  got home i found out a distant family member had died. On another occasion i was getting deja vu for a week same feeling we had visitors from overseas staying at our home and i kept telling my wife i have a feeling someone is going to die! guess what the lady that was staying with us went out to visit family decided to stay the night there and was found dead next morning!. Now every time i get deja vu a concentrate really hard and the opposite of what i was going to do eg if i was going to drive to shops i won't or if invited somewhere and i get that eerie feeling i cancel (better to be safe than sorry) there have been many other incidents to mention and i have family and friends who now listen to what i tell them when i get that eerie feeling of strong deja vu as the have seen first hand that i can sort of predict something bad happening and maybe even avoid it. whether i change my destiny who knows but its beats ending up dead or broke etc etc

I get a kind of Deja vu called precognative dreams. It's where i have a dream over and over again, and after a random period of time it suddenly happens. I changed what happened once in eigth grade, instead of telling this joke that no one laughed at i just stayed quite. I stopped haveing deja vu for about a year, and since i like deja vu, I haven't changed one since. Maybe life is just a repitious wheel, and those are memories from your last life...

I've actually had that happen to me a couple times! I get that strange deja vu feeling, and it sort of fast forwards until I can see what I'm going to do a couple seconds later - but then i don't do it. I don't even do it consciously since it happens so fast. I have a couple of theories regarding it, but nothing concrete.
One is related to the theory of parallel dimensions (That the different possible results of every action will form a different universe for them.): The possibility here is that my action is causing a split into a new universe, but my consciousness remains connected for a few seconds during/after the break. Without would be a slight precognitive experience with said event.
Another theory would pertain to reincarnation: that in a parallel life, the same or similar experience occurred, but responded in a different manner.

okay, this probubly doesnt relate too well with the question since im not gunna answer it. but i just wanted to tell you guys that i remeber having deja vu when i was in my freshman math class, then and there i decided to remeber that and think about, what if i get this deja vu again? around the same time, next year? well... guess what? i had the same kind of deja vu about the same time (all i remeber is that it was sometime in the begining of the school year) in my softmore and senior year, I dont remember if i had it in my junior year... its kindof interesting, maby deja vu can be linced with the minds of those who have good memories?

Agh, I know what you mean. That's happened to me multiple times. You are not alone! Cause I mean...it's like, "deja vu!" and then you say something that messes it up and you instantly know it's not right but you don't know exactly what you were supposed to do...

I am writing an article on deja vu. I need to interview women, who experienced deja vu and as a result something good happened...their life was changed for the better...they benefited in a small or large-scale way. The article is for FIRST magazine. A beauty photo-shoot comes with the territory! ccoppa@bauerpublishing.com...

i hate to admit it because it is sad to think that we do not have total control over our destiny but i believe fate plays a part in our lives to some extent. the massive amount of power our mind contains remains essentially untapped. what are we capable of doing? who knows, but i believe that when in touch with our "intuitive" side then we are capable of seeing into the future.if we are doing this then that road has already been created..? remember, though, that we are only glimpsing what will be to a point in time. we can only see as far as a crossroad...a choice. it is then that we can consciously decide what happens. maybe I'm wrong but there has to be more to us than flesh and bone. the human body is an amazing electrical force. is it possible that the mind could live without the physical body?

Ever felt a double deja vu, a feeling that you've had a similar deja vu before ? What's that supposed to mean? Are we living our next life already?

DE JAVU...
Just what exactly is de javu? I guess, mostly everyone must have encountered it in some unlikely events or happenings. It's like the feeling that you've been in a situation that you have never been into. Or you've met someone who really looks familiar but no matter how you try to remember you can't figure out where and when. Some people say that perhaps you've experienced it or you've met the person somewhere in your subconscious, a dream perhaps. Some also say that it may have been or the person may have been part of you in your past life. No matter what your perception is about it or who you believe, de javu will always be a mystery to those who have experienced it and is experiencing it.

Actually, Deja vu, in some "religions" or whatever, is also called a vision. If you've already seen something, you can pretty well figure out the outcome. You'd have a chance to reverse it if you knew what to look for. If you have a deja vu, you should scrutinize everything. record thing that seem out of the ordinary they could help you figure out your destiny lol

i think everyone has an energy around them and in this energy is feelings thoughts and memories. when meeting a person you might tap in to their energy.for example if your going through a town you've never seen you probably past a person who's familiar with the area causing you to have the creepy feeling of it already happening before.
