My female dog went into heat last April and since then she was very sick with skin and allergy diorders.  It has been six months since she last was in heat and I was wondering if something may be wrong with her since she shows no signs of going into heat again.  Is it possible that being so sick put her cycle off?  Any help with this topic would greatly be appreciated.

I've always had male dogs so know nothing about the relationship between two females. Do they tend to fight and be territorial as males do?

I have a 9 year old female dalmation. For about 2 days she has been carring around a squeaky toy. She will not let go of it for nothing. She sleeps with it and takes it eveywhere she goes. She will only let it go long enough to eat or drink. But she sleeps it right by her side. IS this a sign of her going through the change. She has nver had puppies.
