1957 B Silver Cerificate Dollars are worth somewhere in the 10-15 dollar range for a 1957 Silver Certificate Dollar Bill depending on the condition.  For example, you can buy packs of 50 for $500.00:
http://www.usrarecurrency.com/SmallSizeSilverCertificates.htm
You can learn more about silver certificates there as well.

well those ideas were all wrong the truth is that the 1 silver certificate dollar is not much at all.  first you have the 1957A 1 dollar that is worth 8.00.  And last we have the 1957B dollar bill that is worth only 1.50. So there are the right answers, sorry all the rest of you people are dumb.

I have a series 1957A one dollar silver certificate bill.  So far, all I see are a bunch of answers that lead me to believe it may be worth $10-15.00. Is this right?  I'll just hold onto it for my kids to cash in on in the future when it may be worth more.  I got it as change from the pizza delivery guy. Oh well.  By the way, very funny about that million dollars Fred Richman.

UM why are you asking these stupid questions here?
There is this thing called "The internet"
And just about anything your looking for is there.  A good place to try might be "Google".
Why do I get the feeling you people all using AOL. Cause AOL limits you to what you can find and see on the internet. Go get a real internet account (half as much $)
And maybe you should just go here http://www.prankplace.com/funnymoney.htm
Thats where I bet you got your "Million Dollar Bills" from.

"Most silver certificates including 1935 and 1957 series are only worth about 25¢ to 50¢ over face value unless in uncirculated condition which will bring about $4.00 per note. Series 1928 $1.00 notes bring anywhere from $6.00 to $60.00 depending on condition. Consult "Bank Note Reporter," Krause Publications, usually available at your local book store."  http://www.rrcoins.net/Q&A.htm

Obviously a site like this allows any idiot to post any stupidity they want. Unfortunately people can't trust others when they need help. Anyone looking for an honest answer to this question should look for a site run by actual collectors. Otherwise you will just keep running into idiots that say things like Michos up there, condescending and arrogant, who--if he/she/it is actually correct--most likely got the information from a reliable site just to sound important on this one. Even reliable sites cannot always agree. Someone interested in buying to resell for profit will give you relatively little, but a serious collector will be willing to pay a bit more. Do your own research.

I have a 1957 Silver certificate that does not have an A or B following the date. Also, this note is offset from center with the top border being a larger per portion than the sides or bottom. Probably still only worth $8-$15 though with it having mild circulation wear on it. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.
