I'm running Win98SE. Whenever a program tries to do any internet related thing, there is an error message (it varies from application to application) that says something like "Cannot Initialize Winsock".  I installed Fresh Diagnose, and under winsock, it tells me that winsock is not enabled.  Maybe these two things don't relate to one another, but why can't the programs access winsock?  I went through the modem troubleshooting process and extracted all new winsock files from the CD, except that it couldn't find winsock32n.dll.  This didn't help.  Help!  If you could answer by e-mail, it'd help - dadwhiskers@yahoo.com
