Ok....i have Kazaa media desktop on my computer. and one day i'm downloading music up to speeds about 40 kb/sec as usual because i have a 256k dsl. but then all of a sudden it drops down to 0.50kb/sec or lower and has been doin this now since the last time i'vehad good speeds(which has been probably about 3-4 months:\|) Would someone please help me out?? i'm thinking it has something to do with a firewall but i'm not sure just a guess? Thanks Chad Hansen

A firewall wouldn't directly slow down a network connection. It only allows or prevents connections from being made at all. However, a firewall may limit HOW MANY seperate connections can be made (especially in known Kazaa port ranges) so that you are only able to connect to 1-2 others at a time (instead of 100 others...)

Ok. First you might wanna check your internet connection. Another is you might wanna get another kazaa.You might not wanna have aim, msn ect.You don't wanna have all the chatting stuff go online at once because it'll slow down your dsl connection. Because of your dsl. It will all sighn on at once. So check that.

ok i have kazaa plus on mine and today i found a message saying that top search was not downloaded or sumthen its weird! so when i try to open it it keeps poping up here is what it says:Kazaa Media Desktop has failed to start because you have an incorrect or missing version of TopSearch. Reinstalling this applacation from www.kazaa.com may fix this error 2001. and than it says kazaa media desktop will now quit. i need help please!!!
