Hi there,
This question is reagrding SNMP Traps/Notification and me a developer new to SNMP world. My question is very straight, what would you choose if you have to implement event trapping on your snme agent; TRAPS or NOTIFICATIONS???

I been through many books and much of the documentation as much as I can on the internet, but there is no STRAIGGHT answer for this!!!!

Ofcourse it depends on what we expect out of our implementaion; but technically speaking(I mean comparing the technical benifits) which is the better one ; even if you want to change the implementation to previous version or next version????

Can anyone there help me out of this PL.

Your detailed answer is highly appreciated.

and how to subscribe to this mailing list???Can anyone mail the details to kumarpkp2003@yahoo.com

Thanks,
phan
