Our 1 year old male Airedale..77m lbs. and a great guy seems to injure his limb or limbs once a month or so and limps for several days.
Has had hips and knees x-rayed. Is this common?
Thanx

Joel,

Many large breed dogs have problems in older age with joints. It is not common in my experience to have a young dog with the symptoms you describe.

It may be a nutritional deficiency or a condition that is aggravated by food allergies. Feel free to contact me for more information.

Joint problems are a symptom of Lyme disease. I'd have him tested for that just in case.
