IF PIC  9(4)  9(4)COMP WILL OCCUPY 2 BYTES MEANS THE MAXIMUM VALUE THAT WE CAN STORE IS 2**16.BUT WE CAN STORE A MAXIMUM VALUE OF 9999.
WHY?

IF PIC  9(4)  9(4) WILL OCCUPY 2 BYTES MEANS.
EACH BYTE WILL OCCUPY 9(2)
THEN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PACKED DECIAMAL(COMP-3) AND COMP

if comp value occupy 9999 because comp value occupy minimum 1/2 bytes equal to 2 bytes this 9(4)
