I am a Canadian currently living in Hong Kong and am looking to do some volunteer work in Vietnam.  Does anyone know where or who I can contact with respect to this.

I think you should contact the VSO, a British NGO which has worked in VN for a long time.
I live in VN and have known some members of this organization since some of their staff worked for my college from 1996 to 2001, and they were of great help.
