My Wife and I are would like to emmigrate to canada from scotland. come june my wife will have a degree in psychology with Honours although she will have no experience in that field, she has been in the Royal Air Force and has worked other general jobs in the past 14 years.
I am a financial advisor but I am unsure if the qualifications I hold here would stand me in stead for employment there (financial planning certificates 1,2 and 3 MAQ mortgage qaulification)
Does anybody have any advice for us, any help would be appreciated.

Move to Northern Sweden. Most speak English, property is VERY cheap.  Exchange rate is good from UK now, tax is high but then 18% of it goes towards your pension so is actually nearly the same as UK when all things are taken into account.  EU rules allow you work and live there, no problems with pensions or health-care which is by the way in a different world to the buckling UK system.
