my husband and i have 2 year old chow, she typically is an angel, but recently got mad at my husband, then pooped on his pillow and peed in his chair. (thank god he works out of town and left the next day) im hoping by the time he returns she will have forgot she's mad at him. she is a very spoiled animal.  has anyone had problems such as this with a chow?  my vet says thats typical, and she will forgive him.

HI,  THAT JUST TICKLES ME THAT I HAVE HEARD THIS STORY.  IAM A SINGLE MOTHER OF TWO CHILDREN AND MY ICE CREAM IS GREAT BUT SHE WAS UPSET WITH ME ONE DAY AND WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK SHE CRAPPED ON MY BED. TO TELL YOU HOW SMART CHOWS ARE ( SHE CRAPPED ON THE SIDE THAT I SLEEP ON AND SHE HAS NEVER ONCE BEEN ON MY BED).  SHE IS NOW 10 YEARS OLD AND HAS NEVER DONE THIS SINCE. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CHOW AND YES SHE WILL GET OVER IT.

My Baby here just hate my bf. Everytime my bf visit me, he will bark and he will pee on his shoes. He never liked my bf around. One day, i was sick and my  bf was here to take care of me, and of course, feed my Baby. That day, he saw how my bf love me and him. From then on, they are bestfriends.

That story is so funny! Chows are very smart. My mischievious chow got angry at my mother for yelling at him so he peed amd pooped on her bed! She was soooo upset! But never called him those type of names again.

Chow are the worst dog breed in the world!  I would get rid of them all if I could, take my suggestion - get a better breed like a retreiver.
