HOW DO I CHANGE THE BANNER TITLE IN IE6 FROM
'MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER PROVIDED BY PC ADVISOR' TO SOMETHING ELSE

use reg-edit

on the left under
programs, internet explorer, main.
then on the right window you will see the text u dont want, change it to whatever.

Go to the start menu: Click on Run.
Type in: regedit
Under my computer, click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
then click on SOFTWARE
then MICROSOFT
then Internet Explorer
then Main
On the right side of the screen, scroll down to WINDOW TITLE and double click on it. Change the VALUE DATA to whatever you want.
