teen witch books are for wicca (master wanna bes,) and the believers in solving your problems with a little pinch of this and that... Wicca is orinially a form of fake white magik that people of the modern age have ammused is witch craft. Wicca is really one of the major 12 religions that started with the jewish faith. People of the modern world have not realized that wicca is a cover up. In order to preform real magik (not wicca's magic) you must find a real internet site or explore a real spell book. Legend has it that certain people process the power of the wand, the air, the fire, the earth and the water. These people known as elements passers have been true to the gift. Wicca faith holders are not imformed of the lengend in which real 'holders of the gift...' truly are presented by the goddess, (who was the first real "witch" burned at Salem...) to be the ones and onlys of each century. A magik holder of the gift must be given it by the goddess or her existing family. But the average wicca person is not given the gift. In fact according to lengend wicca's are what the gift is trying to usa as a guise. Real passers are not nor will ever be wicca's. Lengend also has that the orinial wicca was a possed woman who had claimed that a witch had tortured her and turned her into one of her own. In order to be excepted the woman had to be given faith and been reborn. Once reborn she still could not be a christian so the church allowed all possed woman to be given a christ okayed religion... Wicca was what it was called. Therefore in answer to j3vuz's question it does not matter whether you personally make up or buy your spells for the fact you asked on the internet proves that you are not a holder. Therefore any fake "magic" you do the goddess will have to stand forth her messanger (Attira) and show you your wrong! A person can not pick a spell and expect to work... But a holder can create a spell and watch is succeed!

People of the modern world have not realized that wicca is a cover up." Wicca was the product of one Gerald Gardener, circa about 1940. He was a friend of the Magus Aleister Crowley, and actually made OHO of the OTO (Ordo Head of the Oriental Order of Templar). Rather than going with the traditional forms of magic that were around then, he chose to use a more "Pagan" oriented outlet and appeal to the then-appearing groups or "Covens" that claimed to be practicing pagan forms of magic. What you're confusing Wicca with is called "Kabalah", a Jewish form of mysticism that leads to magic via the Tree of Life. As for the earlier question, creating your own spells is quite easy. All it takes is imagination, concentration, and the ability to project your Will through forward into the multi-verse. (I use the term multi-verse not to sound like some sort of hardcore mystic, but rather to denote the Quantum-Physics based idea that the universe is divided into nine separation dimensions, each denoting a universe in and of itself - magic, which is often perceived as being utilized in one of the higher dimensions and has the consequence of "action-at-a-distance" in this universe.)

I would like to say that I began my powers at an advanced stage. I had knowledge of spells to chant, methods of doing things, and knowledge of certain procedures, that people I didn't know wanted to know when I joined the occult. I explained that I was not from the occult and then was asked to give my denomination of 2 different types of occult faith. Still I am part of neither and I tell you when I somehow opened up the door to all of my inner being I have been on a trip of a lifetime. I can't shut off whatever is making people around me go banana's. So I am going to end on the note that I am really scared of all the knowledge I have been forced to eat, and warn everyone to be careful and not believe in societies power of schizophrenia.

I think that you should start out a beginning witch and use spells and tips off of the internet first and when you get good at those and become a more powerful person then you can make your own spells. you cant just make an extremely powerful spell and then expect it to work if you've never even tried to cast a spell before. Try casting spells from the internet first then learn you boundaries, and THEN create your own spells. It may not be easy and it may take longer but the rewards are much greater...tske this advise from an expirienced witch. ps-you CANNOT just chant a stupid little spell and expect the good spirits to give you powers you have to work for them and work hard be dedicated and once/if you do get your powers you can't just stop being dedicated and stop working hard-witchcraft is NOT a hobby, game, or to be taken lightly...it is a way of life and an ENTIRE life not just a part. Once you start you cannot stop and even if you do think you know what i mean you don't really untill you are one with nature as am i.

'Fake witches beware', I am a 'real' wiccan and have been practicing for over a year now. you may not feel that wicca is a real religion just as that I feel Christianism is a bunch of stories and 'stolen' 'holidays'. I won't go on a christianism 'bashing' spree but I would like to say that religious or not it is not my place, your place or anybody elses place for that matter to go knocking another religion and saying that it isn't real. Christian-people believe in christianism and thats fine you won't knock them will you?! Budhists believe in Budhism and thats fine you won't knock them will you?! Just because wicca is a minority religion doesn't mean that its not real!!! P.S. As I mentioned above I have been practicing for over a year and all of my spells have worked.

My my we are an inquisitive group! You must believe in order to succeed at anything in life, this is no different. As to the lengthy reply above, this person needs to read more fact based books and stay away from the fantasy section. Wicca was started in england a few hundred years ago. It is not witchcraft it is not spawned from christianity or anything of the sort. It is pagan based dealing with nature as a source of power, it has just removed the blood shed and given everything a softer edge. It is considered a faster way to perform high magic, but in wicca you do not hurt others to reach your means. If you want high magics like making globes of light and the like it takes time and focus. You can feel the power around you and pull it into yourself, the next step is learning what to do with it next. You can make your own "spells" which are a form of prayers sent to the god and goddess, when you pray do you use somebody elses prayers or your own? It is not all consuming to make your own, knowledge and practice make it a rather easy feat. Just practice and do what feels right, you have to remember to believe in yourself too! Ok kids, let's let the drama subside a bit. And please, if you are going to post anything, at least have the courtesy to look up the spelling of a word before typing it. Trust me on this, it really does nothing more then show how wrong you are on something if you cannot even get the spelling correct. As to the answer of this thread, believe it or not, the best spells are always the ones that you create and write for yourself. Turning to page 121 of "Witchcraft for Dummies" will never help you solve your problem. Only you can solve it for yourself. By creating the spell yourself it is 100% yours, not the wannabe writing the book. So, not only will the spell be more powerful because it is attuned only to you, but you also gain in knowledge and practice, which are two of the keys to practicing real magick. Any witch or wizard worth their broomstick will tell you this, and anyone else you tells you otherwise is only trying to scam you. Follow your heart and your intuition, it will never lead you astray. If you don't, then you may want to ask yourself if you really are meant to be a Witch.

It is not good to make your own spells, unless you know what you are doing. Here are some simple rules. Remember- what goes around comes around. White Magic- this is the magic of protection, love, and such harmless spells that protect the user from evil, or harm. Grey magic- This is magic that has no meaning behind it, but may turn to white, or dark magic. For example. I wish I had a Corvette, well instead of getting one, a family member might die, and leave you one in a will. Dark magic- This is a very dangerous path, for all evil sent out will come back upon you. Really there are no realms of magic only holy, Grey, or evil casters. Secondly before you can cast a spell you must know how to protect yourself before, and after a spell. Also some spells require items. You must remember that any curse you put on another will come back on you times 3 . You may want to start with light as a feather stiff as a board. Heres how. requires three people. You must have no doubt in your mind. Make one lay down in a relaxed position, place fingertips on person then two of you say loudly light as a feather stiff as a board then get softer, and softer until your only saying it in your head. The target will begin to levitate above you fingers. If you magically attuned you can actually lift them higher than normal.

No i don't think it is best to make up your own spells because if you decide to be a witch you could spend all your time on making up your own spells that might not even work other than practicing on being a real witch.I think you have to know how to be a witch and moreover you have to know how to make up your own spells.

I make up my own spells and they all work if you believe that they will work. for example if you wave your wand and then chant ''see the routine of the gods and goddess be thy light to the ground'' the boom you will see little goblins in front of you. i hope it helps

you have your own choice to make up your own magic spells so i say go a head if you don't fill up to it so don't do it say what your own head thinks don't listen do others because if you do what others tells you to do then you will get in trouble. i am not your mother to tell what you have to do but i say use your head to think before you do something

When it comes to spells, it's how much you believe in them. If you truely believe that a spell you make will work, then it just might. But people often feel that they might have done something wrong, so they don't have faith in the spell they make and cast. It is usually safer and more reliable to use existing spells, the older the better. Because they have been used so many times for so long, they often have more power, but it still boils down to how much faith you have in it. A clear mind is always important, so start meditating!

i don't think the question is, should you create your own spells, i think the question is how to make any spell you use work properly. in order to use a spell you need to give of your self. that will make it so that, even if you are not born with the magic you can still use it. i have created fifteen level one spells that drain your energy as you use them, so if you deside to create your own spells, do so at your own risk.

a witch is witch and she who knows it, holds the power.YOu must own it, believe in it and know it exists. THe only way in which a spell will succeed is how much effort,thought and concentration is put into it.You never speak of a spell after before or during the magick process.Why? you ask , because the power will be drained and the spell will be cancelled out.That is why you never speak of the magick but keep silent and watch it work before you.

Although irrelivant, magik is a matter of pure faith, simple laws of the universe, some people do tend to be higher skilled in magik that have barely ever practiced, but this is a thought proccess, if you have any doubts a spell will not work, also, equivilant exchange, another law of the universe, it is very real, be careful with black magik, it can hurt as much as it can help. I hope this helps some of you, i have no reason to post this other than pure curiosity, so you are forewarned.

Your spells won't work. There is no such thing as magik (or magic or magick or whatever your "correct" spelling of it may be) You can ask the gods or goddesses anything you want, but it won't do anything, because they don't exist. Any perceived results from spells or prayers are either misinterpreting what actually happens (seeing magic where there is none) or in the case of a spell for health that seems to work, keep in mind that in clinical tests, placebos have been shown to produce side effects.

Sounds fun, I created one my self that makes your opponent shrink to the size you desire.The incantation is SHRINKO.I used it against lucius malfoy and then i used my other spell witch turns your opponent into a spider.I then trod on him.The incantation for that is ALARMO-SUTARNO!!!

I do spells like Harry Potter ones not! the real ones of course, i�m going to look for a 8-12 inch soon and make it how i like it. I keep bewitching my mums chop sticks but i get bored of that, I love magic and hate people who do bad magic no all the time though some times it needs to be done, no offence but i met loads and they harmed their families and friends

I f you hear "you just got to believe" thats fake crap..... trust me you know when its gonna work there's always a solution..... and never wait for it to work.
