I am considered a "good driver" with my insurance company in Maryland.  I just got a major speeding ticket in Oregon.  I just learned on the Web that Oregon and Maryland are both apparently not part of the interstate "compact," nor do they share "reciprocity" with one another.  Can I safely pay the Oregon ticket without expecting Maryland to find out about it (and therefor lose my "good driver" status with my insurance company)?
