Depends largely on the individual. Generally they love humans so much they are eager to please and will learn commands quite quickly.

i think pitts are cold i know about 20 of them in manchester and i will hopefully be gettin one myself v.soon they are the best breed of dog around

I have two Pitt Bulls, one half American and half pointer and the other is full blooded American and they are the best dogs ever. People give them a bad reputation!!!!!

Pitts are bad ass dogs. They are very loyal to there owners. they are very protective. the best breed.

american pitt bulls should be allowed it is just a small number of people that train there pitt bulls to nasty i think they should let pitt bulls legal under licence at least.

Correction Sarah, pit bulls make great pets even if you do fight them, especially game bred pits. Dog fighting is definitely cruel and wrong but I know dozens of people who have adopted experienced pit dogs with the scars and wins to prove it. These dogs are as good or better with kids than any labrador out there.

PITT BULLS ARE VERY LOYAL AND LOVE THIER OWNERS VERY MUCH BUT YOU DO HAVE TO WATCH THEM AROUND SMALL CHEILDREN BECAUSE THEY LOVE TO PLAY AND THEIR IDEA OF PLAYING IS A LITTLLE MORE AND RUFFER THJAN MOST DOGS THEY MIGHTB HURT THEM WITH OUT KNOWNING I HAVE ONE AND JUST PLAYING HE WILL RUN UP AND HEAD BUTT YOU AND BREAK YOUR NOSE BUT HE JUST WANTS TO LICK YOU

Pitt Bulls are very easy to train, but there teething can be really bad make sure they have toys to occupy them when your not at home or you will find your walls and doors chewed.

I am from Houston. Whoever thinks Pitt Bulls should not be aloud in the U.S. is really stupid cause Pitt Bulls are the best dogs in the whole universe.

i have two pits, one cross with a American bull dog an the other a pure breed! i think they are very loving dog an very loyal.my two have been to obedience training an are very quick to learn new tricks.however in the wrong hands they are very powerful an aggressive an hard to keep under control when other dogs are involved!to own a pit u shud have a understanding of the breed. they shud be legal if you have the right training in looking after the breed.

I always thought pitt bulls were just brute animals. My brother gave me one a while back as a present. He is extremely intelligent and loyal. He protects my family while Im out. I love him. They are stubborn u just have to have patience and train them the right ways.

i have a pitt bull for about 4 months now and shes great i love her! and shes so easy to train! and shes very protective over me! i just love her, she doesnt want to harm anybody!

I have a pure bred American Pitt And she was quite hard 2 train the first few months and know shes extremly well behaved, they are very strong characters who need lots of TLC.

pitts r great they r big, strong, loyal. they make you feel safe in ur own home and arnt agressive unless provoked but all dogs r like that. i love them you couldnt breed a better dog

i have to laugh about the people who say that pitt bulls are agressive and nasty dogs. when they are treated bad and have been taught to be like it then what do you expect !! you could say the same for staffs and rotweillers then ?

I THINK PITT BULLS ARE THE BEST AND MOST LOYAL DOGS YOU CAN HAVE. (I HAVE 4 MYSELF). IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW YOU RAISE THEM. MY DOGS ARE EASIER WITH MY CHILD THAN ANYONE, THEY PROTECT AND WATCH OVER HIM LIKE HE IS THEIR SON. ANYONE WHO DON'T LIKE THEM ARE JUST AFRAID TO GET TO KNOW THEM, AND THATS YOUR LOST!!!!

I think It is how the owner treats a pit or any dog to how it comes out. Everyone miss juges a dog just because of the rest of the pitts or what they heard. "What if we got judge about being mexican or black on just b\c of how the others act that was that race.

Pitts are great dogs, period. California has now banned the breeding of Pitts. This is yet another strike against the rights of Americans' freedom of choice. I personally have had 2 Staffordshire Terriers and they are the best dogs I have ever had. My oldest loved to suck on her blanky and fall a sleep in my lap as we watched T.V. together. She loved it when I would tickle her paws. I tickled her so bad one day she actually pee'd herself. Gawd, I miss her so much. I would have giving my life to save her's. One day I think I will have to do that for my pitt, cause no one and I mean no one is going to take her from me or my family.

well there is nothing wrong with a pitt bull.They are wonderful loving loyal dogs.They are like any other kind of dog,if you train them and raise them in a right way,then there should be no problems.Everyone see'spictures of pitts that were trained to fight.I have 7 pitt bulls,(i breed them),And they are all loving and caring!Don't band them!
