1996 Chrysler Cirrus - replaced fuel filter - car won't turn over - new batter - grinds when started - any suggestions on what may be wrong

Denise, I started having the same problem, as well.  It only happened when it was cold, and the dealer nor other shops could diagnose it.  I have also replaced the battery.

Have you found a resolution?  I have the LXi with the Mitsubishi engine; a tune up has been suggested as a potential fix.

make sure gas is in it. and then you might have to reset the computer system, because everything on the cirrus is electronic unfortunately. I have no idea how to reset it.

Hi my car did the same thing an i work at a auto shop mine was the crank sensor check that out i bet that is it or one more thing the map sensor best luck to you.
