hey chicas...i recently got my belly button pierced...and it didnt hurt at all when the needle was pushed through my skin...and it didnt hurt when the earring was put in either. i got mine done with a curved barbell...afterwards i felt a little dizzy, i kept seeing flashing lights, i couldnt hear very well, and i had a cold sweat. but those symptoms only lasted a few minutes...then i was fine. over the next four days i experienced redness around the area, my stomach was tight, and every once in a while, i would have minor cramping, sharp pain, and dryness around the piercing. by the fifth day all of those symptoms were over. so my advice for all of those girls that are debating whether to get it done or not, is to just go for it...it doesnt hurt as bad as you think it will. i just got it done, and im 13! if i can do it...so can you. also for those of you who live on oahu(hawaii) or will be visiting the island, and you are thinking of piercing your belly button, and you are looking for a good place to get it done, i would recommend Queen Of Pain Tattoo And Piercing. it is located in Waikiki on Kuhio Ave. and Nohonani St.(in Waikiki Market Place).the address of that place is 2310 Kuhio Ave. hope this helps you guys! bye :)

WHEN I GOT MY BELLYBUTTON PIERCED..... I WAS 13 AND DECIDED I WAS JUST FLICKING THROUGH A MAGAZINE AND I SAW THIS GIRL WITH A REALLY PRETTY BELLYBUTTON PIERCING. I HAD NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT BEFORE. IT LOOKED SO NICE SO I ASKED MY MUM AND DAD IF I COULD GOT MINE DONE. THEY SAID THAT IT MAY HURT BUT I COULD IF I WANTED. I AM A BIT OF A WIMP! A WEEK LATER ME AND MY MUM WERE ON THE BUS AND I WAS GOING TO GET IT DONE!!! I WAS DED DED SCARED AND I FELT LIKE I WAS GONNA BE SICK. WHEN I GOT TO THE PLACE I WAS TERRIBLE. I KEPT ON REACHING UP! THEN THE MAN TOLD ME TO COME IN AND PICK A BELLYBAR I LIKED. HE TRIED TO CALM ME DOWN. AND EVEN SAID THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER IF I CAME BACK ANOTHER DAY. BUT I INSISTED ON GETTING IT DONE, SO I LAY DOWN ON THE BED AND HE WAS TRYING TO DISTRACT ME. THEN HE SAID GET READY! YOU WILL FEEL A LITTLE NIP! ONCE I GOT IT DONE, I FELT DEAD GOOD ABOUT MYSELF. I DO ADMIT THAT IT DOSE HURT FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS. ITS JUST LIKE SOMEONG GRABBING ABOUT 2CM OF YOUR BELLYBUTTON AND SQEEZING IT REALLY HARD. I WAS DYING TO GO HOME AND TELL MY MATES, WHO SAID THAT I WAS TOO CHIKEN TO GET IT DONE. AND AS WE HEADED FOR THE BUS HOME I FELT A BIG SURGE SHOOTING TO MY HEAD. I SUDDENLY FELT ALL DIZZY AND WANTED A DRINK. SO MY MUM AND I HEADED TO THE CLOSEST SHOP. BUT THEN SUDDENLY I FELT MU LEGS GO WEAK AND FELL TO THE GROUND. I HAD FAINTED IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN ON THE FLOOR. SUDDENLY THERE WAS A HUGE CROWD AROUND ME AND I COULD HEAR PEOPLE SAYING OMG SHES DEAD!!! ABOUT 1 MINUTE LATER I REGAINED CONCIOUSNESS AND I WAS TAKEDN TO A SHOP. THEY PUT ME ON A CHAIR BUT I SUDDENLY FLOPPED BACK AND FAINTED AGAIN. THIS TIME FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. MY MUM WAS SCREAMING AND WAS SO WORRIED. WHEN I WOKE UP FOR THE SECOND TIME I WAS ON A STREACHER AND WAS IN HOSPITAL! IT WAS VERY SCARY.AND MY BELLYBUTTON WAS REALLY SORE. NOT THE ACTUALL PI THINK THAT I FAINTED COZ I WAS DED NERVOUS BEFORE IT. I HOPE I HAVENT PUT YOU OFF OR ANYTHING! ITS BEEN A YEAR NOW. AND STRANGLY I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY SKIN HAS GOT SMALLER AROUND IT

Hey! i got my belly button pierced the 3rd of july. I was really nervous.. but there's nothing to be scared of. After paying and giving the certin information i needed in order to get it done, i picked out a barbell. Either one a barbell or ring.. doesnt matter which one. The ring and the barbell take the SAME amount of time to heal so pick which ever one you like best. In this case i picked the barbell. After that the body piercer took me to one of the piercing rooms and cleaned my belly button. He cleaned it well and then marked out a spot for the piercing. After it was perfect, he told me to lie down on the piercing table. Then took out the clamp. It was actually really tiny. He clamped the spot and told me to take a few breaths and to relax after the first 2 he did it. It SERIOUSLY did not hurt. It felt less then a bee sting. Not even that. I hope i answered some questions for you gals who wanna get it done. The BEST way to get it done is professionally. DO NOT do it your self. It can become infected, like any piercing but it has more of a chance of getting infected when you do it youself then having it done professionally. So for all you gals who want it done i say go for it. It's way cute and i really love mine! -ROSE!

HeY!! Im 14 and I got mine done in the summer! ('04) I couldnt believe that I had the guts to get my belly button pierced becasue i cry when i get blood taken! Well when I got mine done, the piercer drew 2 dots with marker, then he had me lay down on the bed. I took my sweat-shirt sleeves and covered my face. Then he pushed down really hard on my stomach and stuck the needle through, then put the barbell in. I yelled a bit, but didnt cry. To be honest, most of the pain is from the after part. I couldnt sleep on my stomach for a few days, or bend down. If you clean ur belly button TWICE a day w/antibacterial soap(DIAL) you should be fine. Some days i lacked off, and it hurts SO BAD. I wanna cry sometimes, its like this stinging, paralizing feeling, even when I try and move it around. So I can tell people what happenes and stuff if they have any ?'s AND I ALSO NEED HELP. I THINK ITS INFECTED, SO I NEED HELP ON TO MAKE IT GET BETTER..so if anyone has any ?'s or can help me PLEASE..email me... khco22@yahoo.com!!! thanks

WELL GETTING IT PEIRCEDIS GOING TO HURT WHEN THERE STICKING THE NEEDLE IN IT. WELL FIRST OF ALL I AM A BIG BABY WHEN IT COMES TO NEEDLES, ROLLER COASTERS, OR ANYTHING THAT INVOLVES PAIN. WELL I STOOD UP AND HE MARKED WHERE IT WAS GOING TO BE THEN I LAID DOWN AND HE TOLD ME TO STAY STILL AND PUT THE CLAMPS ON IT , THE CLAMPS HELP BECASUE IT HAS SO MUCH PRESSURE THAT YOU FOR GET ABOUT THE NEEDLE BUT WHEN HE STICKS THE NEEDLE IN YOUR FLESH YOU FEEL IT IT BREAKS THROUGH IT FEELS BAD , WELL I WAS SHAKING AND COULDNT CONTROL IT , AFTER HE PUT THE RING IN IT IT STILL HURT ALITTLE CAUSE HE HAD TO TIGHTEN THE BARBELL. BUT AS SOON AS I GOT UP I WENT TO LOOK AT MY SELF IN THE MIRROR AND I SMILED CAUSE IT LOOKED COOL AND I COULDNT BELIEVE I JUST DIDI WHAT I DID. IF YOUR SCARED THINK ABOUT IF YOU REALLY WANT IT OR NOT AND IF YOU DO THEN IT WOULDNT MATTER HOW MUCH PAIN IT WILL BE. BUT PEOPLE SAY THAT AFTER WOARD IS WHEN YOU FEEL THE MOST PAIN BUT THATS NOT TRUE RIGHT AFTER I WENT TO ASTROWORLD AND I ONLY FELT A LITTLE LITTLE SORE BUT THATS ALL. I WISH YOU THE BEST ALSO I DID IT WITH OUT MY PARENTS KNOW ING AND THEY STILL HAVENT FOUND OUT OH YEAH I GOT IT DONE FRIDAY.
