Australians sometimes call tornadoes cyclones, and worldwide two other names for tornadoes are hurricanes and twisters.

Yes, they mostly call them cyclones, but some call them tornadoes, twisters, and and even hurricanes.

You're idiots. Twisters and tornadoes are completely different to hurricanes and cyclones. Hurricanes are over 100s of miles, and come off the sea, with strong winds and lots of rain. Where as twisters and tornadoes are localised storms, with the typical cone touching the ground.

Where as twisters and tornadoes are localised storms, with the typical cone touching the ground. And the answer to the original question is willy-willys. Some Australians call hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons "willy-willys". I imagine they call tornadoes, tornadoes.
