My 8 year old Maltese became blind  after oral surgery(7 teeth extracted). He's been very depressed and disoriented. Does this happen often after the use of anesthesia and could be this a permanent situation?

no this situation is not a permanent situation as this might be a case of giving the local anesthesis in the eye ball that is in jecting a needle deep enough that it has penetrated the eye ball or that also can be cured in few months  and will come to normal

This just happened to my child, loss of vision in one eye and blurred vision in the other, after oral surgey.  She is in the hostpital undergoing test right now and the only thing I could find on the internet so far, was this Maltese story.  I'm terrified.
