I am a medical professional and have some experience in working on a psych unit.  I think my boyfriend has DID.  He has episodes of rage that seem to be triggered by different things.  He was abused with a riding crop and belt as a child.  When he has these "episodes" he doesn't remember anything the next day and is very remorseful.  He has a drinking problem and is working on this.  I think all of it is related to the childhood abuse.  Any ideas on how I can direct him to get help???
