I have a 9 month old Sibarian Husky and just found out that...

I have a 9 month old Sibarian Husky and just found out that she has hip dysplasia. We are absolutly going to treat this and make her better. But, my husband wants to get her a compainion (puppy number 2). Do you think this is a good idea now?

yes it is a good idea i have a s. Husky with caterax(eye sickness)and I got a companion dog named Tyrus also a Sibarian and it is so much better so you should.

I think you should take care of your dog.
just because puppy is a dog that doesn't mean she doesn't have a feeling.
why do you need to listen it is bad to do your husbands way. my mom is like a doctor to animals.she has a good reason.
we doesn't actually work there.
don't listen to your husband he doesn't know anything about taking care of animals.
he is telling you a stupid thing.
now that is a advice.
don't listen to your husband

I think it is a good idea to get your puppy a companion.I have an older dog "barney" and a younger dog that keeps him healthy and friendly

i think that it would be a great idea to get your husky a companion, i have a 6month old husky and we also have a 2 month old pit bull both females and they get along great and are happier,   i think you should do it

I think it a good idea to wait untill after your dogs suregery.When she recovers then get a puppy.it would be easier on your dog.It would keep her heath.

yes take care of your puppy cause just because its a little puppy doesn't mean the puppy does not have feelings.
i"m sure it can get better if you take care of it.

I think it is a very good idea to get your puppy a companion.i have a younger dog called shadow he is a husky and i have a older dog called demon also a husky and he keeps our younger puppy happy and healthy.

i think you should just take care your little puppy :-) and wait and see.  your puppy need all your attention and care at this moment.  

a second puppy will bring you more work and less time with your sick puppy
