I've had a Beagle in my apartment...but she didn't really work out because the Humane Society I got her from lied about her age (they said she was 6 months, she was really 2 years) and she had two illnesses.

Generally, all dogs are good for apartments, it just depends on the size of the apartment and the dog...and the animals temperment.  Personally, stick with small dogs, more room for them to run and move.

Ask your landlord too before you get ANY animals.

Some apartments allow dogs, under certain conditions. Beagles are ok in apartments, but they can be noisy. plenty of toys to keep them occupied, and exercise before you leave, if you work during the day, can help.

Beagles are very good pets to have in apartments... as long as you take care of it and teach it well.

I have a basset and a beagle/basset mix who live in my small condo and do just fine,,When I am home they go out 3x in the am and 2x in the afternoon and 2x at night before bed.I walk them singular and together and walk for about 15 min. each time...They truly are pack animals and you should have 2 not 1 for comfort and company.

Absolutely NOT.

Beagles are ACTIVE, hunting dogs that are made to go 23 hours a day!

Look into less active breeds.

Yes they make great apartment dogs. I know someone who has 2 beagles in her apartment and it works out fine. But remember to walk them regularly because beagles need exercise.

Dogs are allowed in apartments. You just have to check what your apartment's pet policy is. Some have breed and weight restrictions. Beagles are great dogs, but be sure to train them that barking a lot is not a good idea. They are great, loving, warm dogs.
