You should try a chiropractor. Our dog had a torn ACL and was going to require surgery. We had been to several vets who had x-rayed him and said it would never get any better. After seen the chiropractor for 2 weeks (4 times a week) he stopped limping and started walking and running normally again. Our chiropractor has worked on several other dogs with other problems such as arthritis and we have seen several of them running around after just a few treatments. It is generally cheap if you find a chiropractor that can do it.
