Our 9 year-old English bulldog has red sore spots where eyebrows would be found, and some just below that on the sides above his cheeks. He just had eyelid surgery and where the stitches were put and taken out, just won't heal. We've tried everything to protect the wound like sores but he keeps rubbing or irritating it with his paws/claws. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this or how to treat something like this?
