I have a 1994 Mercury Sable that stalls out when the heater...

I have a 1994 Mercury Sable that stalls out when the heater is running for about 20 minutes. If the heater is left off, it doesn't stall. Does anyone think they know what this might be? I'm a 57 year old woman on disability and  a walker, I need to conserve money and "foot time" to find an answer.
