i think that if when you are shure that this programe is going so well in the regular windows and when you run the xp virsion
this prog will not function because it is not turbo c++4,5or more developped version
try to dwload a new version for the c programming or no to use xp windows that's all have a good luck

because turbo c++ 4.5 is working for windows and the graphics mode is only for dos, so it can't work in windows.. so if you want to use graphics you can use turbo c++ 3.0 (for dos).. But if you want the program is under windows, you can use visual c++.. it give you more choice to get better graphics.. Have A Good Time.. GBU :)

Why don't you download 'live boot-able CD for Linux'. from  http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ofset/freeduc-primaire-1.5.iso
http://kent.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ofset/freeduc-primaire-1.5.iso

burn it to Cd of capacity at least 700 MB.
insert into CD-ROM.
restart your computer.
you will get dual boot option for Linux operating system, press return key.
Linux operating system will be loaded.
then check in start menu if you can start Linux-CLI (Command Line Interface).
Linux has built in c++ compiler.
i hope this works for your each and every problem. because any c++ program would work in Linux. i hope you know why

i dont have an answer but a question. I am using windows xp and borland turbo c++ version 3.0. In initializing graphics mode, if i use GraphDriver=DETECT , the program fails. I have to manually specify the graphics driver as EGA and graphics mode (ie resolution of the window). This resolution is less than the max possible value on this system.

Why is this so!?!?!

three factors can be responsible for such error. 1. make sure the graphics header file is working properly
2. the version of the compiler you re using
3.type of operating system platform
