Good evening,

I am hoping you can direct me.  I am a new follower of Christ and I heard something interesting today and would like to read more or find more information.

I was told that a custom in the time of Jesus at the end of a meal was if the napkin was just 'thrown' down on the table the person was happy with the meal; if the napkin was neatly folded it meant the diner was unhappy and would not return, thus explaining the head napkin found in the tomb that Jesus folded it neatly to say he did not like this place and would not be back.   Is there information somewhere on this custom or commentary on what is believed to be true about the linens found in the tomb?

Kind regards,
Christine

guess you're in the wrong page. Anyhow don't follow Christ and, specially, christians if you want to keep your soul alive.

by the way, though no question should be regarded as stupid, this one it is.

I think that Sugaar and John are trippin'.  By the way Sugaar, believing in Christ is the only way that your soul won't see death.   Choosing Christ was the right choice.  Congratualtions on your conversion, it's the most important decision that you have ever made.  I not too sure about the napkin thing or about the linen but I do know that he rose again and that tomb is empty.  I wouldn't get too caught up in the speculation, just remember to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.  Brother in Christ.
